Day 1: Arrive in Seoul

After arrival Incheon International Airport, meet our guide at lobby of terminal 1 Gate 12. Then transfer to your hotel. Rest of day free at leisure.

Day 2: Seoul/ Chuncheon/ Olympic Park ( B/L/D)

Take a walk through the forest of trees and open grassy areas where ostriches, rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks, ducks and peacocks welcome visitors in the midst of wild flowers gardens. On Nami Island, artists from all over the world show-off their talents. Cultural events take place every weekend, making Nami one of the main cultural and artistic tourist attractions in Korea.

We visit Olympic Park where the spirit of the 1988 Seoul Olympics lives on. Strolling around takes you past its stadiums surrounded by plenty of greenery, ponds and open-air sculptures. There’s a gallery of modern art and two museums on the history of the Baekje dynasty. The park contains the remains of the Mongchon-toseong, surrounded by a moat, build in the 3rd century AD during the Baekje dynasty.

You’ll get to enjoy the cafes, shops and permanent displays of Olympic-themed art.

DAY 3: Gyeongbokgung/ Blue House/ N Seoul Tower ( B/L/D )

The Blue House is the executive office and official residence of the South Korean head of state, the President of the Republic of Korea, and is located in the capacity of Seoul.

Gyeonbokgung, also known as Gyeongbok Palace, was the main royal palace of the Joseon dynasty and possibly Korea’s most famous palace. Built in 1395, it is located in northern Seoul, South Korea. Take some time to stroll around the pavilions and halls within the palace’s spacious walled ground.

The N Seoul Tower, commonly known as the Namsan Tower or Seoul Tower, is a communication and observation tower located on Namsan Mountain and a landmark of Seoul. The place to enjoy views of the entire city of Seoul. A variety of local and international restaurants and shops can be found on different levels of the Tower.

DAY 4: Hongdae/ Samcheong-dong/ Myeong-dong ( B/D )

The Hongdae area is known as a trendy cafe and is well known for its indie scene, urban street arts, and underground musicians. Many known bands like Jaurim, street art festivals and performances, as well as music concerts by independent artists and mainstream entertainers.

Samcheong-dong is a dong, neighbourhood of Jonggo-gu in Seould. This hilly neighborhood is characterized by numerous small art galleries, shops, and restaurants.

Myeoungdong is a dong in Jung-gu, Seoul. It is mostly a commercial area, being one of Seoul’s main shopping and tourism districts. Myeong-dong has been listed as the ninth most expensive shopping street in the world. The area is known for its two historically significant sites, namely the Myeongdong Cathedral and the Myeong Nanta Theatre.

DAY 5: Imjingak/ Dongdaemon Design Plaza ( B/L)

Imjingak is where the “ Bridge of Freedom” lies. The freedom bridge crosses the Imjin river. It is a former railroad bridge which was used by repatriated POWs/soldiers returning from the north.

The Dongdaemun Design Plaze, also called the DDP, is a major urban development landmark designed by ZahaHadid and Samoo, with a distinctively neofuturistic design characterized by the “ powerful, curving forms and elongated structures”. The landmark is the centerpiece of South Korea’s fashion hub and popular tourist destination, featuring a walkable park on its roof, large global exhibition spaces, futuristic retail stores and restored parts of the Seoul fortress.

DAY 6: Military Demarcation Line/ Provence Village/ Lotte World (B/L)

The Military Demarcation Line ( MDL ), sometimes referred to as the Armistce Line is the 154 mile-long land border and demarcation line between North Korea and South Korea. On either side of the line is the Korean Demilitarized Zone ( DMZ ). The MDL and DMZ were established by the Armistice at the end of the Korean War in 1953 and is one of the world’s most heavily armed borders.

Beginning with a chic French restaurant in 1996, Provence Village is a themed village with a shabu-shabu restaurant, a garden restaurant offering delicious grilled meat, a Provence Living Gallery decorated with beautiful interior designs, an Herb Village full of sweet fragrance, a Fashion Gallery, a European bakery and cafes.

We’ll spend some time at Lotte World- a major recreation complex. It consists of the world’s largest indoor theme park ( a Guinness World Record ), an outdoor amusement park called “ Magic Island”, an artificial island inside a lake linked by monorail, shopping malls, a luxury hotel, a Korean folk museum, sports facilities, and movie theatres.

DAY 7: Seoul
